painted stripes

I bought this top because I think it is really unique and abstract. And it was only $9.95 from Romy! I love it's loose boxy shape. The burnt orange pants matched the top really good and remind me that fall is on it's way (okay...there really is no fall in Mesa, but I can dress like there is!) I can't wait to throw on some booties and a long cardigan with this outfit! Even a black blazer would look good. What do you think about the painted stripes of this shirt with the colored pants? Is it something you would wear?

blue on blue

Who says you can't wear blue on blue? Mint has been popular all year long and I love it paired with this almost-navy blue top. I love that the top has a fun design on the back. It is cool and summery especially with the nautical bag. I had to wear my cheetah heels (you should see how much cheetah I have in my closet...I'm praying it never goes out of style!) I've also been loving the layered look with gold necklaces. You can find some pretty inexpensive ones and make endless combinations. As you can see, it was miserably hot and I had to put my hair up into a pony. I am planning on doing some hair tutorials and tips soon so stay posted!!

black + white

I always love outfits full of color and patterns, but lately I have been crushing on black and white. Add some nude accessories and a pair of oversized sunnies for the "i'm not trying" celebrity style! (The heels could easily be replaced with some studded flats or boots when fall time rolls around!)

Sunnies are a year round must in Arizona. These were given to me by my sister for my birthday and I love them! I go through so many sunglasses that I could never justify spending loads of money on expensive ones and I think cheap glasses are just as cute! These cost around $15. If you don't have a pair of cheap, stylish sunglasses go get some!

pretty in pink

I love this outfit! Yes, I'm an outfit repeater with this one. I have been looking for a knitted top for so long. They sell a lot more now, but at the time I could not find any. The first one I saw was at Nordstrom Rack on a mannequin and I had to have it. I love the way it looks with yes, yet again, another blazer. I also like it over swimsuits for a more casual look. This outfit looked super boring when I tried it on until I added the cheetah shoes and a simple necklace. Don't be discouraged when you try on an outfit and you absolutely hate it! By simply adding accessories like a necklace or shoes,  you can change the entire look. I'm not into being super matchy, which is why I added a blue necklace to add some color. (A gold or brown one would not do the trick). Great outfit for a lunch with the girls or a bridal shower!

floral blazer

For anyone who works in an office environment this is a great look to bring some color, but also class to your work wardrobe. The black pants are very conservative which helps balance out all the colors and patterns going on in the top. If you don't have a floral blazer or cardigan, an alternative way to get the same look would be a floral or patterned tank with a solid blazer/cardigan. If you haven't been able to tell yet, I love LOVE blazers! They are so versatile and make an outfit look so put together. I also think that tucking in the button-down shirt looks cuter than having it out. Stay tuned for future office outfits!

trendy finds

For today's look, I paired two of my favorite trendy items together for a hippie-inspired look. You've probably seen these knot headbands everywhere and I loved this fun pink one that was only $3.80 from Forever 21. When it comes to trendy things I'm always cautious before I buy, it is easier for me to buy cheaper small items that are trendy than huge purchases that could go out of style quickly. I love this jean jacket! I wear it all the time and it goes well with so many things. This outfit overall is really comfy especially the slip on shoes and is great for a day of running errands, etc.

day at the beach

This fun outfit reminds me of something you could wear walking along the beach. Or maybe I just wish I was at the beach! Either way, I love the white pants and dark chambray shirt paired with a pointed flat shoe. The purse adds a little color and fun. The hat is also fun and matches the style of a beach outfit perfectly! All items are simple and inexpensive. Are you brave enough to wear white skinnies?
